If You’re Feeling “Off” Today… There’s a Reason.
If your energy feels strange today — tight chest, buzzing thoughts, heaviness, or that sense of “something is shifting but I can’t name it” — don’t push past it. You’re not losing your balance. You're tuning into it. Last night I had a dream where I felt like I was inside and outside myself at the same time — watching, listening, waiting for something I couldn’t quite see yet. Then I woke up and looked at the clock: 12:12 AM. And today happens to be the 12/12 portal — a day known for accelerated clarity, soul nudges, and sudden inner upgrades. You may not follow portals or energy cycles, and that’s okay. Just notice this: Your body is picking up the shift before your mind can explain it. So if you’re feeling off, do this with me: Inhale like you’re stepping into a new doorway. Exhale like you’re letting the old version of you stay behind. Just one breath. Today isn’t asking you to be productive, it's asking you to be present. If your body had the microphone right now, what would it be trying to tell you?

A bit of vertigo today which always slows me down. So, I'm going with it. Slowing down that is. My mind is buzzing with creative ideas for cards. When vertigo lets go, I'll be in the craft room today.
My East Sandpainting: A Glimpse Into My Shamanic Path
I want to pull back the curtain a bit today. You already see the coach in me…the woman who helps you stop explaining yourself, set boundaries without guilt, and finally listen to the voice you’ve been quieting for years. But there’s another part of me that guides everything I do: the part of me that walks the Shamanic path. Today I created my East Sandpainting, and I felt called to share a little of it with you...not to teach you how to do it, but to show you one of the ways I stay rooted in my own journey. I placed the four directions, brought in the Kuyhas (healing stones), added other stones and crystals, feathers, flowers, and elements that hold meaning for me. Each direction held a message. Each object carried a purpose. It became a living mirror for what I’m stepping into right now. The South reminded me to release old layers I no longer need. The West showed me what strength looks like when it’s quiet and unshakeable. The North softened me back into faith and inner guidance. The East called me to rise, shine, and stop dimming myself out of habit. And in the center, I placed Labradorite — the Shaman’s stone — because this work asks me to track energy with my whole being, not just my mind. I also pulled a card for each direction, and every single one affirmed the same message: You’re stepping into a bigger light. Keep going. This Sandpainting isn’t something I “do” for content. It's how I stay connected to my own medicine. It's how I remember who I am while I help you remember who you are. If one part of this calls to you — a symbol, a direction, a feeling — which one is it? (And if you’d like me to share more of these glimpses into my Shamanic practices from time to time, just say so.)

Thank you for sharing this piece with us.
Mid-week presence check:
Have you noticed the moment your body tries to explain your boundary before you even speak? For some women it shows up as a tight chest…for others, a shaky voice…for many, a nervous rush to justify why they can’t do something. Just notice it. That’s your truth trying to rise before your conditioning takes over. If you want to share what you’re noticing, we’ll hold it gently. And if you want to just breathe and keep it close, that counts too.

I think I've experienced all those symptoms, at least at one time or another. I'm not sure which is most prominant right now, but interested in observing.
This Week’s Energy & Reflection
This week is all about communication — the kind where you stop explaining yourself just to keep the peace. You're being invited to notice the moments your body wants to say “no,” even before your mouth tries to soften it. There’s a shift rising in you…a steadiness…a quiet confidence that doesn’t need long explanations or permission slips. And when you honor that, even once, you create space for more ease, more joy, and more of what actually supports you. I’ve placed the full reading for the week in the Classroom. You'll find it in 'The Awakening Circle' under 'Weekly Card Pulls'. I've also attached it here but know you can always go back to the classroom to find it. Take a moment with it when you’re ready. If anything already stirred something in you, feel free to share — or simply let it settle.

@Sandy Bartlett it's still new to me so I found myself going over the conversation again and again feeling shame that I had allowed myself to get angry. Then Stephanie Jr and I had a meeting and we decided that letting ourselves experience shame was like apologizing in that it diminishes me/us. So, we're rejecting the shame that wanted to creep in.

✨ Welcome to Your Journey — This Week’s New Members ✨
To the women who joined us this week - I’m so glad you’re here. You just stepped into a space built for the woman you’re becoming…not the one you’ve had to be. This community isn’t loud, hectic, or performative. It's quiet strength. It's steady growth. It's spiritual support without the noise. It's where people-pleasers come home to themselves. Take your time. Look around. Let your nervous system settle. And trust that you belong here. Please join me in welcoming: @Kim Parkinson @Kim Benoy @JRene'e Caffrey @Melissa Sheffield @Nikki Begg Each of you arrived with your own story and each of you is beginning a new chapter now. If you want a place to start, explore the Start Here section in the classroom. And if you feel called, share an introduction. Not who the world wants you to be, but who you are becoming. We’re honored to walk this journey with you. Welcome to Journey to Self: The Awakening. Your voice matters here.
