🌿 Calling all Wisconsin Ladies!
@Jim Flach (Oasis Builders) shared something with me that I thought might be worth passing along to our Wisconsin members! 𝗪𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗻 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (WiWiC) is gathering feedback from women across the state to help shape future conservation programs and resources. They're hoping to reach 500 survey responses, and 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙙𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙩𝙤𝙣𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩, 𝙊𝙘𝙩𝙤𝙗𝙚𝙧 15, 𝙖𝙩 𝙢𝙞𝙙𝙣𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩! If you're a Wisconsin woman interested in nature, conservation, farming, land stewardship, or protecting our beautiful state, you might want to share your thoughts. 🔗 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝘃𝗲𝘆 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝟱 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝘂𝘁𝗲𝘀. Thanks for thinking of us, Jim! 💚

Yes They are also looking to surrounding states if you can travel into WI for some events. Several questions bring up virtual events as well.
Last call for Authors!
Update: Last call for Authors to speak on the 20th for the soft launch of The Author's join Lisa Nichols, and Omar Periu (mentored by Zig Ziglar, spoken on stage and partnered with Tny Robbins, 30 best selling books) on the virtual stage Televised and livestreamed, and played on tv after. Explore The Authors Channel launch opportunities here _______ I know there are authors among us, and some of you work with authors, too. This is an opportunity I thought you might appreciate. 💙 For those who don’t know this side of my business, I’m The Tech Gardener. I help people explore ways to give their content and message more room to grow. Streaming TV is one of my specialty gardens, through the BloomingVoices Streaming TV Community. 🌱 eZWay TV is one of the networks I represent. For an author, that can mean bringing the ideas behind a book to life through a televised conversation, presentation, or launch. 📺 On October 20, The Authors Channel is launching on eZWay TV, with opportunities for authors to take the stage and share their message on television. There are also opportunities for: - A televised book launch - An author spotlight interview - A book promotion What interests me is the chance to introduce the person and purpose behind the book. Instead of simply saying, “Here’s what I wrote,” you can help viewers understand why it matters and who it can help. If you’re actively promoting your book and are ready to invest in reaching more readers, I’d love to help you explore which opportunity fits your message and goals. Explore The Authors Channel launch opportunities here, then comment below so I can help make a personal introduction. If an author in your world comes to mind, please pass this along or tag them. 💙 For the authors here: What would you most want viewers to take away from a conversation about your book?

Hey Wander on Youtube. I want to introduce Casey from Hey Wanderer who is now part of the Oasis Builders family. I met Casey during the Master Gardener training I completed this Spring. Casey and Savannah are a few years into building an off-grid homestead from the ground up, learning firsthand about land, water, shelter, gardens, animals, infrastructure, and all the decisions that come with trying to build a working system. That kind of lived experience brings a wealth of information to any community. I love watching another piece of property develop from the beginning to a new Oasis. We talk a lot about observing before we act at Oasis Builders. A new property gives us the chance to look at the land, water movement, soil, existing plants, sun, wind, access, and family needs before deciding what belongs where. This is where a piece of land begins becoming a connected system rather than simply a collection of projects. If you get a chance, stop over at Hey Wanderer on YouTube and see what Casey and Savannah have been up to. Hit subscribe while you are there. https://www.youtube.com/@HEYWANDERER While your out venturing, join Oasis Builders https://www.skool.com/oasis-builders-8012/about What is the first thing you would want to observe before making plans for a new piece of property?

@Lisa Viviers As always... me too
What's one thing you wish you'd started teaching your children earlier?
Looking back, is there something you wish you'd introduced sooner, before old habits or screen time took over? I've noticed that what actually sticks with young children has little to do with curriculum and everything to do with how we show up while we teach it. 🌱 What's something your family tried that really stuck? 🌱 What age did you start, and would you start earlier if you could do it again? 🌱 What are you still figuring out?

@Nicole Wright I could teach you algebra. I have taught many nursing students that just could not get it. I was able to help them understand and meet them where they were. I love grandpas incentive :-)

@Nicole Wright :-) Amen Sister... I love your story...
Ever wish your kid came with an instruction manual? 😅
You’re not trying to be the “perfect parent”, you’re just trying to figure out why putting on shoes turned into a 20-minute meltdown when yesterday it was completely fine! Or why mornings always seem to end in shouting. Or what actually helps when your child is already overwhelmed and nothing you say seems to be getting through. That’s where @Catherine Burns comes in! Instead of complicated parenting theories or expecting everyone in the house to be calm 24/7, Catherine helps parents understand what’s behind their child’s behavior, recognize their triggers, prepare for the moments that tend to get difficult, and build stronger family connections along the way. Sometimes the biggest shift isn’t figuring out how to “fix” a behavior. Sometimes it’s finally understanding what that behavior is trying to tell you. If you’ve ever wished you understood your child just a little better in those hard moments, go check out Catherine’s community. 🌿 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗺 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺™

I help families understand off grid living, grow real food, use herbs wisely, and build a more self-reliant home without fear or overwhelm. 0 Reply
