Free VIP Competition update
In order to win free VIP you just need to win roaster of the week at least once and refer the most ammunt of engaging people (referrals count only once they stop lurking). If you're already VIP, you're obviously not competing. VIP members have me doign CTAs for their offers and communities, can have classroom content here and can also host 1 live event per month. And in the future, they will have a place in my website! In may 1st, I'll announce the winner! Here are the scores: ---> Won Roaster of the Week and have active referrals: - @Gus Gray - @Mike Tielemans ---> Won Roaster of the Week but have no active referrals: - @Brian Diep - @Ruben Plasmeijer - @Zena Ryder --> Didn't win Roaster of the Week but have active referrals - @Dr. Severine Bryan - @Dave Hughes - @Lion Fludd - @Lidia Axe In case of a tie (count of active referrals), the one with the best position at the 7 days leaderboards will win. We still have 3 Roaster of the Week winner spots untill may. Are you competing?

@Gus Gray So far not yet but I do love the calls as well! The calls always remind me how important it is to connect more offline because it's as close as you get to offline connecting while being online...๐Ÿ˜…
Promoting meditation
we have free for all Fridays for meditation on this community, and wondering how we can better promote this https://www.skool.com/meditate plus meditation is good for your health.

@Brian Diep Awesome! What comes to mind straightaway is finding out (in other communities, on other platforms) is everyone who is interested in learning more about meditation. Where they are, which communities they are in, whay they value most etc. etc. And you could do the same in the community itself of course but I assume you or Brandon already did! Engagement wise, I would be interested in finding out what percentage of the members is actually curious about this. What is their initial reaction?

@Brian Diep Which part? Haha, this is the short version; Before promoting anything, and deciding where to promote, it's important to find out who would be most curious about a meditation teacher with experience in China. I am assuming that part makes the difference.
Do you refer other communities to people?
There are only advantages on referring communities to people. You get a commission from it, the owner is grateful and many even reward you for that (like I do). I won 2 referral contests and get comissions from 3 paid members that I referred to the classifieds. Here are some ways to do it: - Recommendation posts, where you list communitiest that helped you in some regard. I did something similar here, where I list our VIPs, and High Skool clique posts, where I separate people's communities by their type. - Classroom directory: You can create a directory on your classroom to refere other people's communities. Many people do that successfully and @Heather Boers has a whole space dedicated to exactly that. - DMs and comments: if you really love a community, invite people who you know could benefit from being inside it with your referral link. I do that all the time for my VIP members, as that is one of the perks of VIP. Here is how you can benefit from bringing referrals to Roast & Promote in particular. If you win roaster of the week at least once, and bring the biggest ammount of referrals, you will get free lifetime VIP access to this community at 1st of May. And also, if you start a community with me, or refer someone who does, you get free premium. Free VIP if you start with a pro community! And once I get enough MRR to upgrade to PRO, I'll enable 50% comission for paid referrals.
