My community is for anyone who builds something and wants feedback. But a few people told me it looks like it's only for tech. My cover shows me working at a laptop. Could that be why? 1/ What does the cover tell you the community is about? 2/ What would you put in it instead? Roast the cover, not me ;) ✌️

Growing up in the 20th century, there was always the promise of a bigger, better, and brighter tomorrow, filled with new technologies like flying cars, hoverboards, and cities in the sky. Fast forward to today, and all we have are broken promises and the promise of even more promises. That's where The Lift Society started. It's a funding community for researchers, builders, and inventors working on alternative propulsion and lift outside mainstream consensus. This is LinkLaunch — I created it because my affiliate links, promo communities, products, and places to share them were scattered EVERYWHERE, and I was tired of hunting for stuff every time I wanted to promote something. 😂 I’m working on making the message as clear as possible. My question: If you landed on this page without knowing me, would you understand what LinkLaunch does and why you’d want it within about 5 seconds? And if not — what feels confusing or needs to be stronger? I can take it. 😂 Give me the useful feedback, not the polite kind.

I made this post yesterday talking about why you should not be afraid to be controvertial. And after some great points from @Alexandra Alexa @Eric William @Gavin Stevens @Aimee Jardon and @Warrick Duncan I think the simple lesson is not being afraid to be outspoken on your hot takes. I believe you should talk about stuff that everyone is talking about and jumping in the hype train to get use of some visibility boosts. But if you do it in the same way, with the same opinions as everyone else you will never stand out. And you problably don't need to think too much about it. If you're passionate about what you're building, you problably have an opinion on what most people are doing differently than what you're doing. Like in my case, I believe most people are either too hyped up about how to use AI, thinking it makes things easier when I see it making a lot of things harder actually. Or they are not using in ways that are creative and innovative enough, they are just copy pasting the same solutions that other influencers tell them to do and putting a wraper on LLMs that replaces prompts for buttons. So I'm trying to do something different. What about you, what is your hot take? What is the thing that you see and do differently than the majority?
