I'm starting a personal challenge to track the vocabulary, expressions, and phrasal verbs I notice in real life. Whenever I hear or see something we've learned in DDM—whether it's in a podcast, movie, TV series, YouTube video, or conversation—I'll share it here. For each comment, I'll include: - 🎧 The word, expression, or phrasal verb - 📍 Where I found it - 💬 The original sentence - 🧠 What it means - ✍️ My own example sentence My goal isn't to memorize long word lists. It's to recognize these expressions when native speakers actually use them and gradually make them part of my own English. Finally it's pouring, cool down a little bit.How is the weather over there?

I love my mom so much. I just found out she suffered a hairline fracture in her left leg three days ago, and now she can’t walk. I feel so ashamed. Mom worked incredibly hard raising my siblings and me when she was younger, which left her with many old aches and pains. My heart aches terribly now. I sincerely hope she recovers soon.

It will be issued in the beginning of August.
