I love the sketching. What are you using to create those mockups and when you say posting do you mean on social media or in the group? If social media what has the reaction been to them?
This group is closing this Friday. Here’s what to do next.
The group has been a little too quiet lately, and honestly, I was starting to wonder if this community was still useful to everybody in here. But if you made it this far, clearly you care. So no, the group is not really closing. But we are waking it up. This month inside Raising the Bar, it is Client Acquisition Month, and I do not want my Posh Draping University members sitting on the sidelines. So I’m opening up a 7-Day Client Acquisition Challenge to help you get visible, start conversations, attract new leads, and create movement in your business. The challenge will be $97, but it will be free for all VIP and Raising the Bar members. Each day, I’ll give you one simple action step to help you build momentum without feeling overwhelmed. If you’re willing to participate, comment CHALLENGE below so I know who’s ready to wake this group back up. I will send you the link.

Oversized Paper Floral Tutorial is happening now on Zoom
If you missed this tutorial, comment "paper" below to get access to the replay. I’m showing you how to create an oversized luxury paper flower using Italian crepe paper and wire. This is perfect for backdrops, styled shoots, photo areas, installations, or anywhere you want to add a soft dramatic floral detail. comment "paper" below to get access to the replay!

Help
Hi everyone! I’m Kiara, and I’m currently planning my wedding for next year. I’ve found some incredible inspiration from a UK designer (pictured), but I want to take this concept and give it a more luxurious, multi-dimensional feel. I’m working with a regal palette: Champagne, Emerald, Royal Purple, Black, and Gold. To achieve that "KayyDior" elegance, I want to play with texture—specifically mixing the heaviness of Velvet with the flow of Silk or Sheer fabrics. I’m looking for recommendations on specific fabric blends that drape well together without looking cluttered. I want it to feel opulent and sophisticated. Does anyone have tips on layering these specific textures on a standard pipe and drape system? Can’t wait to get my first set of poles and start practicing!

When I look at the images I think I'm going to a mardi gras event not a wedding, but maybe that's what your intent is. Maybe you can 2 main colors(like your inspo pics) and the other colors are present as accents in florals, etc. The last photo with the ceiling draping is my favorite, Im sure because it least busy. Good luck and I look forward to seeing your final design.
What Got Done This Week? Drop Your Friday Update Below
Hey PDU fam! Happy Friday. Before you close out the week, drop below real quick: ➊ What did you actually get done or practice this week? ➋ What didn't move that you wanted it to? ➌ What is one thing you want to focus on going into next week? Shoutout to everyone who showed up in the comments this week 👇 @Lucy Mireles cleaning and organizing the storage was the move this week. Did you get through it? Knowing exactly what you have is the first step to knowing what you can offer and what to invest in next. @Sasha Castle baby shower colour palettes, a two panel backdrop, balloon arch, centerpieces AND thinking about inventory for Bermuda all at once. That is a full creative and business week. Did the practice sessions land the way you envisioned? The space must transform, you said it yourself. Tell us how it went. @Ruth B. you did not just answer the question, you mapped out an entire business strategy. Content to clients, new designs to higher pricing, systems to more bookings, and digital products as the next play. That is not just thinking, that is someone who sees the full picture. How much of that actually moved this week? Everyone else, Regina, Darelle, Dianne and the rest of the fam, don't go quiet on a Friday. Drop your update below so we can close the week with intention. See you Monday!

This week was slow for me. I worked on creating packages/products that I will have on my website. The goal for Saturday is to clean my office and on Sunday start the week off with a post. I setting small goals so that I can feel like I am moving forward instead of backwards. One win I had for the week is that I did sign up for Precious affiliate program, now I have to acctually let people know about it.
