WE DON’T ONLY GROW FOOD,🐓🌽🐐 WE GROW MINDS 🙍🏿🙎🏿‍♀️👩🏿‍🦱 Watch the magic of learning come alive in the Let’sGrow+231 Children’s Learning Garden! 🌿✨ In this inspiring first harvest, our young gardeners proudly pick the cherry tomatoes 🍅, okra, jute leaves, and green string beans they planted themselves—right in their no-walls, open-air classroom. Guided by gardener Veadeh, these kids are discovering that education can grow beyond books and into the soil! From planting tiny seeds to harvesting fresh, healthy vegetables, this journey is all about hands-on learning, teamwork, patience, and joy. 🌱💚 This is more than a garden… it’s a classroom without limits, where children grow food, confidence, and a love for nature. 👉 Don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe to Let’sGrow+231 for more inspiring gardening stories! #LetsGrow231 #ChildrensGarden #FirstHarvest #OrganicGardening #GrowYourOwnFood #LearningByDoing #AfricaGardens #KidsWhoGrow

Just dying in this heat of high 90s! And still trying to garden!
How do you store your seeds?
I know this topic has been discussed before, but I think it’s great to hear what works for everyone. I used to keep my seeds randomly in a large envelope or ziplock bag. But when I started gardening again, I realized I like to be able to see my collection. I put everything in old binders with card sleeves. I chose categories that worked for me (Alliums, Brassicas, Flowers, Fruit, Herbs, etc.) I then heard about using an inventory sheet, and that was just the best thing I added. The most important part being expiration dates on the inventory sheet! So now I can look for my oldest seeds on the sheet without having to look at each and every envelope. How do you store your seeds? What didn’t work for you? Please share with pictures!

@Debra Owen I’ve seen people with dedicated fridges just for their seeds! It makes a lot of sense, especially if you live in a humid area.

@Phillip Greenwood So it’s like chaos gardening with the last bits?

Good morning In cities and towns across the world, people are growing hearty plants without harsh chemicals. They’re following nature and her clues to creating healthy soils teeming with microorganisms and mini ecosystems right under our feet. Your mission, should you choose to accept, is most possible: 1️⃣ Macro photograph Nature near you, as up close and personal as you can safely get. 2️⃣ Share the 🌱🌻 or 🐝 in the comments. 3️⃣ Most likes wins the week. This mini-challenge will self-destruct on Friday at 9 pm PDT. Good luck.

@Julie Vigil My second cocoon hatched today too! I’m not sure when it happened though as I only noticed after dinner. But it’s so windy out there…I hope they survive!

@Dennis Wichter I had a third sac, but think the last 2 hatched around the same time. There were a lot more when I released what I thought was the 2nd one. And I found a lot of dead ones on the bottom.
