This made me emotional
I’ve been reflecting on the journey some of you have gone through, and honestly, it made me emotional, proud and very grateful at the same time. I want to give a big shoutout to @Kiriakos Athanasiadis @Alex Rossi @Anvay Vaidya @Scott Mackay (among many others...) who I’ve been working with for months and years now. I want to personally congratulate you again for how far you’ve come. For facing things that were hard to face, accepting things that needed to be accepted, pushing through moments where it felt like nothing was changing, and still showing up when there was no clear light at the end of the tunnel. I’m genuinely proud of you for breaking old habits, escaping the pain-relief-pain cycle and slowly getting to a place where your body is no longer something you constantly worry about. Your journeys and results motivate me every single day and I want everyone in this group to take inspiration from you. This is what real progress looks like - learning, adjusting, staying consistent and becoming more independent in your own body. It’s hard to express how much it means to watch that happen.

~6 months later..
Back when I started on this journey about a year and a half ago with @Ania Drozd I was in pain, my body did not trust me! I wanted to run, just like once I did when I was younger! I refused to give up and found Ania! Her first principles approach towards my goals helped me learn more about my body, what it liked, more importantly what it did not! Fast forward to today- i have almost completed my 16 week half marathon training- most of my runs are pain free, above all. So far I’ve put over 200 miles this year, with a hope of finishing a half marathon. I’ve now been able to run for over 90mins. Meticulously taking notes as I run on what is going good, what is not- listening to my body. Sometimes I hear Ania say “control” in my brain! It works out in the end! Take baby steps, trust the process :) Thank you @Ania Drozd

@Anvay Vaidya You just made my day. Firstly, I am SO proud of you for continuously working on yourself, both the body and the mind. It’s a never-ending journey, right!? Secondly, a bloody half marathon… I’m in pain just thinking about it 😂 Jokes aside, you’re proof that hard work in the beginning pays off later down the line. PS. sorry (not really...) for being your nightmare
