I’ve been working with the Altoona-Johnstown catholic diocese to pretty much redo all their organizations branding and web presences which is literally an enormous amount of work so I’ve been grinding through that. Yesterday I put together a brand concept + presentation + market strategy plan for their ministry drive all in 1 day. Was pretty hyped how it’s turned out so far for starting and almost finishing in 10 hours. Just need to finish the brand voice logistics but almost there! Also side note so far for each client through the diocese I’ve been able to pitch 1600 a month for ongoing services after the initial project and so far I’ve closed 2 of them (out of 2) and have 3 more to pitch. Literally a HUGE opportunity!

@Abbie Robots not really in the sense of what people are calling “design sprints”. I moreso underpromise and over deliver so I give myself the opportunity to take a week but if I can finish it really quick which I often try to do It impresses them and it qualifies my higher prices because they’re getting the benefits of my experience and they tell people “he did it faster than expected and better than we thought.” I’ve had a brand take me 2 weeks, but then the value of my time goes down. For example if I finish a brand for 2000 in 2 hours my hour just became worth 1000 and that’s obviously way more valuable to me. This way it doesn’t affect my pricing, it actually opens the door for higher pricing and the pressure of a design sprint is only on me and not the client expecting it done fast. And sometimes I’ll finish quick in a day or so and wait til the day we plan to discuss it so I have the extra week to look for new clients and market. I know some people do “design sprints” with the client expecting it done in 2 days and they charge like $200 for a brand and market the heck out of it, but I think it’s easier to grow with higher price with low quantity rather than high quantity with low price. But yeah that just adds too much pressure for what it’s worth.

Your visuals are so serene! I love the honestly it’s defintiely super relatable to so many people which I think hits really well! Also the match cuts in one continuous clip going right back to the intro is super clean. For those clips that flip through towards the end, did you generate images for each frame?
