Hajja Ustadah Rukiye Zathra Abdul-Mutakallim, Ulama Global Islamic Student of Allah (swt) & The Prophet Muhammad (saws), two-time Hajj pilgrim, lecturer, and Director & founder of the Islamic Seminary of Understanding (ISU) Hajja Ustadah Rukiye Zathra Abdul-Mutakallim embraced Islam at age 18 in Izmir, Turkey. She has completed Hajj twice and spent over four decades traveling across three continents, teaching, studying, and serving diverse communities. She is the founding director and lead instructor of the Islamic Seminary of Understanding (ISU), an institution committed to lifelong Islamic education. She is currently under the private tutelage of renowned scholars in Cairo and has lectured at institutions such as the Arab Academy for Science and Technology in Egypt and Al-Haqhbin Institute in Ohio. She is widely recognized for her roles in interfaith advocacy, disaster relief, storytelling, and civic leadership, having been featured on national media and having authored spiritually resonant works.
