Let’s be real... No one knows who you are. No one trusts you yet. So why would anyone buy from you? Especially if you're just getting started. There will always be people who have no idea who you are. So why should they trust you with their time, let alone their money? That’s where a free community becomes your secret weapon. Here’s why you NEED one: 1. Build trust and warm up your audience: A free community lets you deliver value without asking for anything upfront. People join, engage, and see firsthand what you bring to the table - without risk. Over time, they’ll begin to see you as a trusted authority. Once they’re warmed up, they’re way more likely to buy from you when you present your offer. It’s a no-brainer! 2. Zero risk, zero commitment: People love free stuff. It’s as simple as that. Anytime they hear “free,” they’re willing to check it out - even if they aren’t fully sold on you yet. The beauty here? There’s no financial commitment required, just their time. This lowers all their mental barriers, giving them the chance to see what you offer without the pressure of spending. And trust me, this pays off BIG down the road. 3. An ever-growing pool of leads: Don’t worry about not making money upfront. The long game is where it’s at. Your free community becomes an ever-expanding pool of leads that you can nurture. Over time, these people move through your ecosystem, and eventually, they convert into paying customers. The more people in your community, the more opportunities you have to turn them into loyal clients. 4. Turn your members into an army of affiliates: Even if some members never spend a dime on your offer, you can STILL make money with them! Soon, Skool will have community affiliates. This means anyone in your free community can become an affiliate and make money promoting your offer - without worrying about creating a product or delivering a service. When this drops, Skool will become a different animal. So, if you don’t have a free community yet, what are you waiting for? The benefits are too good to ignore!

So here's my weekly update on what I've been doing, what's worked and what hasn't worked!!! Here are some stats first: - MRR = $2k - Free Members = 181 - Paid Members = 110 - YouTube Subs = 41 - YouTube Videos = 9 - Free Members from Ads = 4 - Total Ad Spend = $20 (Launched them 24 hours ago) What's working: - Daily value posting - Commenting under other peoples' posts (People care more about themselves than others, so they are more likely to see comments under their posts than other peoples' posts) - CTA for new members to book in Kick-Off call with Gift (Course unlock inside free community) - Jumping on as many calls as possible with members and leads - Not pitching anything on the calls, just providing VALUE! - Following up with members - Overdelivering like CRAZY! What hasn't been working: - Free Community Call Qualification: Getting a few unqualified people come through, gonna add qualifying questions to see how I can improve it! On the other hand, adding a fee for no shows has dramatically increased the show rate! Sitting at around 85%!!! As last week, my main focus is a) Traffic, and b) service delivery! I've been consistetly posting on youtube, inside Skool and I started my first Ad Campaign (Cold to free Community) yesterday! Happy with the ad results considering it's only been 24 hours! Hey @Angel Fletcher !! 👋 I commented this on one of your posts but also wanted to make a post in case you didn't see it. I'm loving the lesson posts you're making. They're INSANELY valuable (no joke, it should be illegal to provide so much value for free) and I know everyone in here would love to be able to easily find them to implement at a later time. However, as your community is FILLED with golden bars (not nuggets), it may be hard for us to find them! (Imagine looking for a diamond in a sea of diamonds. Unless I look at the serial number, I won't be able to find which one I want!!!) So to fix this, I wanted to suggest creating a classroom called "Angel's Golden Bars" or something where you could either copy and paste the posts into or just pin them there so we can easily find them all!!!! What do you think?

I see this mistake over and over, and to be honest - I’ve been there too... When you start a community (or any business for that matter), you simply don’t know what you don’t know. And for most people, what they don’t know is how crucial it is to focus their energy on high-level tasks that push their business forward, instead of getting bogged down by the small stuff. The problem? Most people do everything themselves. Sound familiar? There’s nothing wrong with wearing all the hats when you're just getting started - trust me, I’m still doing it as I build my own community... But here's the kicker: doing everything keeps you exactly where you are. Think about it. How many hours are you losing to repetitive, manual tasks like: Collecting new member names and emails… Sending welcome emails manually... Following up individually, and then setting reminders to follow up again days later… It’s an endless loop. And the more your community grows, the worse it gets. You start drowning in DMs, missing follow-ups, and before you know it, you’re just barely staying afloat... Sound familiar? That’s because this is exactly what happens to most community owners who don’t have systems in place. Now, let me tell you something. I took a look at what the biggest, most successful communities are doing. You know, the Skool Games winners generating tens of thousands and even hundreds of thousands in MRR? You know what I found out? They all use systems - systems that automate those low-leverage, repetitive tasks. Why? Because these systems free up their time to focus on the real game-changers - the high-level stuff that scales their business to the next level. And when you have systems, nobody slips through the cracks anymore. You have to stop relying on manual work! If you want to scale, systems are non-negotiable... So why aren’t you using them yet?
