@Jim Justice joined this free group on March 3. Last week YouTube monetized him. On March 3, a guy I never met before name Jim joined PYOB. Free. Same as you. When he joined, I asked what problem he'd solve first if he had a magic wand. He wrote one word. Overthinking. Ten days later he joined Mindset Skool. Four days after that he came back in here and wrote a post telling all of you why. It's linked right here if you want to read it. The last line is the whole thing. "This is the choice I made, no regrets. You have to decide for yourself." April 4 he joined my mastermind. That's YouTube Sales School now. Then he went to work. He opened his own Skool community. He started making YouTube videos. And I want to be straight with you, because this part matters. It did not go smooth. Nine videos. Five subscribers. Most people quit right there. Honestly, I'd have understood if he did. He kept going. I audited his channel and told him which video to make next. Title and all. He made it. Posted it September 18. One week later. 243,000 views. 1,022 subscribers. He started with 5. 6,500 watch hours. 132 new leads. People paying him inside his own Skool community. And his channel is monetized. That was week one. As I write this, that video is past 450,000 views. He's at 1,800 subscribers. 280 leads. And he already put up his next video. It's pulling leads too. 207 days. Free member in this group to monetized on YouTube. Last week he posted this in our Wins channel. "The numbers on the left are ridiculous. I really don't know what to think. The numbers to the right are what I'm interested in and need work." "Brian didn't give up on me and my sometimes scatterbrain approach to things." I appreciate that, Jim. I really do. But I want everyone reading this to hear me. Jim made that video. Jim hit record. Jim pushed publish nine times to five people and came back for the tenth.

People over explain. Someone asks "what do you do?" or "tell me about your Skool community," and we're off to the races. The background. The process. The calls. The DMs. This came up on the Mastermind call, the community call, and my one-to-ones this week. It's just a thing. You have to do stuff to get people a result. We know that. But people care way more about the result than the stuff you do to get them there. You've seen the sign on the side of the road. WE BUY HOUSES. Phone number. Clear offer. You either keep driving or you take a picture and call. You see these every single day: - Cash for Gold. - We Buy Junk Cars. - Keys Made. - Ice. (I love this one.) - Free Estimates. - Injured? Call now. - Cracked Screens Fixed Today. - Firewood $5. - Lawn Mowing. Call Jake. Four words or less. They all name the outcome. None of them explain how. Nobody explains how they buy the junk car. They just buy junk cars. There's a guy on Skool who helps kids with the SAT. His offer is "Get a 1550+ SAT score." Five words. I've looked at that page a bunch of times and I've never once read how he does it. If I wanted a 1550, I wouldn't care. It sounds ridiculous. But it truly needs to be that simple. When I sold elevators, I said "I sell elevators." When I was doing real estate with seller financing and all that, I said "I'm a landlord." Three words. A couple weeks ago I played golf with some strangers. What do you do? "I teach people how to make money on the internet." One guy asked if I was a consultant. Sort of, more like a coach. Then everybody hit their tee shots and nobody brought it up again. That's fine. If they wanted to make money on the internet, they would have asked. And if somebody does ask how, answer the question they asked. Only that one. As few words as possible. Then ask them a question back. Homework. Two questions. I've seen this play out every single year for longer than I care to remember. Around October 1st two groups of people show up. The first group has already decided that the year is over. What's done is done. They coast for the holidays and somehow think their lives will change on January 1st with a bunch of promises they never keep. The second group looks at the previous 9 months and has an honest conversation with themselves. They DECIDE the year is not done and that they CAN do more in 3 months than 9 months if you're focused and committed. I was in the first group for decades. And relived the same year over and over again. The second group sucks, but it's where winning happens. It's where transformations happen. The only thing standing between me and the life I wanted was me. Not my partner Not my boss Not my past Not my friends Not me having the time (worst excuse I ever made) I've made every excuse in the book and I even invented a few. It was all bullshit. Lies I told myself because I couldn't admit the truth. The truth was that I said I wanted a better life. But I wasn't willing to do what was required. Period. This is me holding the mirror up and it will sting. Some might leave the group. There are over 1400 people in this community. Maybe 10 will decide they want to be in the second group and actually do it. The rest will stay in group one. It's the easy, safe and comfortable route. Or is it? Years ago I decided that group one wasn't for me. It was the harder route. 90-120 days of going all-in with zero excuses beats 14 years of playing small and stacking regrets. Which group are you in?
