Katie Leigh, a voice actor friend (who’s been in stuff like Darkwing Duck, Adventures in Odyssey, Muppet Babies, My Little Pony, and lots of other stuff!) came to visit this weekend since she’s doing a nearby “Con” event. She’s been showing me some of her gear that she auditions with while on the road. This in an interface and shotgun mic and they sound AMAZING. I compared this Audio Technica mic with a Sennheiser MKH 416 and I really couldn’t tell the difference. Great options for a mobile (or permanent!) studio. Shotgun mics are a great option for less than ideal studio spaces.

We reviewed @Mary Parkinson ’s commercial demo (awesome job!) and then read from a Lamplighter bookend audio drama. Finally, I had a great conversation with @Mike Selig at the end , to come up with his next steps in his VO journey .
