God knew my family needed some wins and he showed up. My youngest recited his winning essay before The DAR and will receive an award and cash prize at Honor's Night for his school. Also because of his SAT score along with his GPA, he receive an award's letter from Big Futures. My oldest got accepted into a research program at his college in his mechanical engineering field. This momma's heart is so full. My prayers and lessons to my sons have been that my sons not wait on opportunities but to create their own. God placed the research program at my son’s feet he just had to grab it. God is awesome. 💙

@Nekesha Burrell I felt that in my spirit. My youngest is due to leave for almost the whole summer. I haven't been alone in years. I think I'll sit with this for a while and find myself.

My Blessing Today
God is so good. My heart is so full. You don’t know this but I'm an ai gospel music creator. I started in July of last year sharing my prayers, story and poetry via lyrics in songs. I've been questioning this. I'm not totally monetized yet and wasn't getting feedback that my music had impact. A few weeks ago there was a shift. Messages from people giving praise to Jesus and God because my lyrics showed them proof of God's love when they needed it. Today I saw someone sing one of my songs on TikTok. Y'all my heart was beating so fast. I felt God's love so clearly. I never doubted He loved me but to SEE it. Just wow what a blessing. AND my TEENAGE sons were proud of me too! Double blessing!!! Lol 💙

Wow… the timing of this couldn’t be more perfect. I’ve spent most of my life serving others. For over 20 years, I’ve been taking care of my boys, my sick mom, and my addicted brother. My mom passed away in 2019, my oldest is now in college, and my youngest is a junior in high school. And recently, a quiet fear crept in: who am I when I’m not someone’s momma, daughter, sister, or cousin? My boys even worry about what I’ll do once they’re both in college. Since my awakening, I’ve been in hermit mode, shedding versions of myself that no longer fit. I let go of someone I thought was my best friend, and I stopped carrying other people’s problems. I realized I was a chronic fixer, and it was costing me my peace, my health, and my joy. Now I see it clearly. In less than 18 months, I get to choose anything I want for my life. And instead of fear, I feel excitement. I’m tired of pouring into everyone else and leaving myself empty. I’m choosing me. Thank you for this confirmation. 💙
