Howard and I just got back from a 4-day camping trip—and wow, it was everything we needed. This was the first time we’ve truly unplugged, rested, and recharged since restructuring both The Academy and The Club starting back in November. It gave us the space to reset mentally, physically, and spiritually… and we didn’t realize how much we needed it until we were out there, completely off the grid. Thank you so much for your patience while we were away! 🙏 We had our phones off for most of the trip—but I couldn’t resist turning mine on just a couple times to snap some quick pics. Hey everyone! A member in The Academy just notified us that her CapCut account was suspended. When we tried to log in, we encountered the same error. So, it looks like CapCut AND TikTok (which are both owned by Bytedance) may be banned in the US soon. I was concerned about this… and here we are. Anyway, if you’ve been using CapCut to edit your videos, you may need to use another program. I’ve heard good things about InShot. But I’ve also been using Instagram’s native editor and it’s pretty good, too. The only issue is that you can’t upload to YouTube Shorts. Either way, we’ll have to monitor and adjust - which is par for the course. 🙃

As we start the new year, I've been thinking a lot about all the trends I've been seeing lately. So, I thought I would compile them all into one video for you. 🎁 Although there are a couple that are pretty scary the others align perfectly with our industry - and they're going to create opportunities for us that we've NEVER had before.
