Biggest thing I notice right now is you need to come out lower with your first step. When you get your hands on, you’re not getting extension, as soon as you make contact, I need you to extend and separate. Also, keep your pad level lower. Think about keeping your eyes below the offensive lineman’s chin at all times. That will help you stay low and win leverage. I do like your hustle to the ball every play though, that’s a great habit keep that up!

Think about it like this: If someone was trying to move you, and you had to stop them — or even move them back — would you do it standing straight up? Or would you bend your knees and get low? Same thing if you’re pushing a truck that ran out of gas: you don’t stand tall, you get low and drive. Football is the same way. When your job is to stop a guy from moving you off your spot, you’ve got to get low and drive. 🧠 A good cue: always keep your eyes below your opponent’s chin. If you do that, you’ll win the leverage battle almost every time. If mid-rep your eyes get above his chin, readjust and sink back down.
