@Jamila Belhadjsalah My Pleasure ! There isn’t a standard percentage that insurance covers. It varies a lot by provider and individual plan, so I don’t want to give an inaccurate number. I’ve seen coverage range anywhere from 70 to 80 percent or sometimes more, but it truly depends on your policy. Occasionally, some plans have wellness dollars that can be applied, but that’s less common. If a patient chooses to pay out of pocket, they are charged the regular rate and provided with all required documentation for submission, including DIN, product DIN, expiry, total units used, and medical indication. If a patient has a prescription from their physician and picks up the product themselves from the pharmacy, they would pay the pharmacy directly for the medication. In that case, the clinic does not supply the product and there is a flat $250 injection fee to cover the appointment and administration. The patient is responsible for transporting the product according to pharmacy guidelines. Chat soon, Michele
