What hosting a Women's Market at my home reminded me 🤍
Yesterday, I hosted a small Women's Market at my house. For a few hours, my living room was filled with women, handmade goods, laughter, conversations, creativity, and that wonderful feeling that happens when people feel comfortable enough to simply be themselves. As I was getting ready for everyone to arrive, I realized something: I don't actually enjoy cleaning because I enjoy cleaning. I enjoy creating a space where people feel welcome. The flowers. The snacks. The tidy corners. The extra chairs. They're not really about the house. They're about connection. For years I thought a gentle life was mostly about reducing stress. Now I think it's also about creating more moments like this. More laughter.More community.More gathering around tables.More sharing the beauty we've created with one another. The house doesn't have to be perfect. The people matter more. What's your favorite kind of gathering? Coffee with a friend? A dinner party? Game night? A backyard barbecue? Something else? 🤍
