Hi everyone, I know I’m late to the party here, but better late than never! Right now, I’m in the “freaking out and not wanting to do anything” phase as the release of Taboo approaches. It’s such an honour to be part of this collaborative book with so many fierce and brave women who are stepping up to talk about things we’re told we shouldn’t. For those who don’t know me, I’m a therapist—a one-woman show—rebuilding my business after some unfortunate events. I specialize in helping people navigate narcissistic abuse, mental health challenges, and sex therapy. My chapter is all about showing people that I get it. Healing is possible, and I hope readers will feel inspired to connect with me and my team. Meanwhile, life is its own adventure. I’m managing a mountain of personal things, running an Airbnb, being a landlord, building a beauty pageant for plus-size women in Grande Prairie, Alberta, and working as a keynote speaker in different countries. It’s a lot, but I’m fuelled by my passion for helping people heal, find their voice, and thrive.
