Who's on our 30 Day Leaderboard
Question for you - does the community leaderboard motivate you, annoy you, or you didn't even know there was such a thing? Skool, for better or worse, includes a leaderboard that shows member activity over 7 days, 30 days. and the lifetime of the community. I'm working on some new levels and rewards for the community and would love to hear your thoughts. Whether you love leaderboards or not, I'm excited to have so many active members and want to recognize our Connected Through Play Top 10 for the past 30 days. 🥇 @Andrew Brooks coming in at #1 this month AND holding strong at #5 all time. He was our kickoff summit speaker and brings positivity and insights to every interaction! 🥈 @Paulette Ng is #2 this month AND the all-time legend at #1, she's a UK creative powerhouse staying consistent as ever. 🥉 @Tosca Fasso #3 this month is new to the community and is already making a big impact with her thoughtful posts and clever retorts. 📍 #4 @Sandy Chong she is a light wherever she appears and is bringing sourdough mastery and humor to our crew. 📍 #5 @Paula Artis has been part of the community for a few months and consistently brings great ideas for merging tech with screen free time. She also presented a great workshop during the summit and I plan to bring her back for some hands-on time with the community. 📍 #6 @Jen Staniforth is #6 this month AND #2 all time she is a consistent powerhouse and brings her passion for babies and sleep to her posts. 📍 #7 @Chanie Twersky shares her Inner child wisdom in every post. 📍 #8 @Jenny Rader-Bakos is brand new to the community and shares her plant-based energy and community spirit. 📍 #9 @Auli Takala is another one of our core members, whether she's knitting a scarf, crocheting amigurumi, or sharing support, she's key to our community.

First Saturday Share
We have some amazingly talented and creative folks in this community. On the first Saturday of each month, I invite you to share your business. This could be a Skool community, an Etsy shop, a book you’ve written, an app you built, etc. Here are the rules: 1. You can only post in the comments of this thread, this makes it easy for members to find you. 2. If you do share, don’t just drop a link and ghost. Tell us a little about your product or service. Ideally, it’s family friendly. 3. Reply to one or two posts that genuinely interest you. While you may be here for ideas, getting to know folks is also a benefit. 4. Have fun.

@Mary Nunaley Awww Thank you!! YOU are fun and so lovable.
Ice Cube Rescue Mission
This one takes a little extra planning as you need to freeze the toy in the ice cube. It’s fun for ages 3 and up. Freeze a tiny washable toy inside a container of ice ahead of time. Kids get a tray of kitchen “tools” and have to rescue it: salt, warm water, spoon, baster, measuring cup, etc. Add one rule: no smashing the ice. For older kids, make it competitive: limited supplies, timed rounds, or they have to predict which method will work fastest before starting.

For you? Sure!
Mystery Snack Challenge
Have you ever put together an odd snack because you were hungry but the fridge or the pantry or in my case cabinets, didn't really have anything you "wanted" to eat but you were hungry so... The same thing happens with our kids and when there is a long weekend, sometimes, you just need to let them get creative on their own. We've got a few Chef's in the community so I'd love your tips and ideas, too! I'm looking at you @Gwen Roach, @Jenny Rader-Bakos, @Henry Hunter, @Andrew Brooks, @Dale Cox (I know he's a food scientist but he invented food products!), @Sandy Chong, and @Henry Hunter, I'm sure I'm missing someone. Here's the challenge if you choose to accept: Put out a random assortment of snack ingredients and give everyone this challenge: Make something that looks like an animal / monster / famous person / vacation destination. No recipe and almost no cooking required. Then give the creations ridiculous award categories: “Most Likely to Frighten Grandma,” “Would Actually Eat Again,” “We Have Questions.” Then, we move into some real food fun.
