I don't mind super long chapters for reading. But when I right my chapters tend to be around 7/8 pages, especially in the beginning when I'm introducing a character and setting up the initial spot. I try to make it digestible for the reader.
I pretend my book doesn't exist!! Lol but when I literally cannot make myself write I love to sketch out my characters, what they wear, and where they live. I use oil pastels and something about it is very therapeutic.
