8 contributions to Chronic Illness Resilience
If energy wasn’t the limiting factor in your life right now, what would you love to spend more time doing?
Many people living with chronic illness find that their days become shaped more by capacity than by desire. Over time, it can become easy to lose sight of the things we still value or enjoy. This isn’t about pressure or comparison — it’s simply about reconnecting with what matters to you. If you feel comfortable sharing, we’d love to hear: • What would you do more of if energy wasn’t an issue? • Is there something you miss doing? • Or something you’ve adapted in a new way? Sometimes just naming these things helps us reconnect with what still matters, what still brings us joy, and the life we're trying to build—not just the illness we're trying to manage. There are no right or wrong answers. We'd just love to hear your story. ❤️

One thing I’d really like us to talk about is what happens when you don’t actually want your old life back — but you’re still not quite sure who you are now. Has anyone else experienced that strange in-between stage?
Coming Soon:
Our first live session will be taking place soon, and we’d love you to join if you’re able. Topic: Rebuilding Identity After Chronic Illness One of the most difficult parts of long-term illness is not just the physical symptoms, but the way it can shift how we see ourselves. In this session, we’ll explore: • identity change after diagnosis • the experience of losing a “former self” • how to begin rebuilding identity in a more sustainable way • what it means to adapt rather than return to who we were before There’s no expectation to speak or participate if you don’t want to — you’re welcome to simply listen. We’d also really like your input: What questions would you most like us to explore during the session? Your responses will help shape how the session is structured and what we focus

What’s the quickest way you’ve accidentally spent a good energy day? 😄
Living with chronic illness can sometimes feel like managing a very enthusiastic but unreliable energy budget.

Saying yes to plans because I feel good right now and forgetting tomorrow exists.
What is one thing you’re proud of handling recently, even if nobody else noticed it?
Living with chronic illness often involves a lot of invisible effort. Things like: • getting through a difficult day • managing symptoms quietly • cancelling plans when needed • pushing through brain fog • making adjustments others may not see These moments often go unrecognised by others, but they still matter. This is a space to acknowledge them. If you’d like to share, we’d love to hear one thing you’ve handled recently that you’re quietly proud of. Even small things count more than we often realise.

@Kathy B I need to start putting this in action. I don't want to let others down or admit that I'm unwell.
COMING SEPT 15: 5-Day Move Forward Challenge
Feeling like life has been put on hold since chronic illness entered the picture? The 5-Day Move Forward Challenge is designed to help you reconnect with who you are now, rediscover what still matters to you, and begin taking small, meaningful steps toward the life you want to build. Over five days, we'll explore identity, meaning, possibility and action — ending with your own personal Move Forward Plan. Start with Day 1: The Waiting Room, share your reflections in the community, and work through one challenge each day. No pressure to have everything figured out.
