Blankets
I am working on baby blankets and scrunchies. I'll get back to scarves and hats soon. Needed a change. I have also picked out the tarn to make my sweater with.

You can get tired of the same repeated thing, it's good to try something different. When you are ready to share, I will be ready to applaud.

@Janie Dillon you are so welcome
A Couple of Steps Closer To #1
Our community's goal for 2026 is to be the #1 community here on Skool in 2 of the 3 rankings. Skool has three ranking systems: - By Language & Category (here are 9 categories and ours is the Hobby one) - All Skool Communities (there are over 180 000 of them) - How much money a community makes. Since November, we have been working on reaching #1 in the first two categories and have made incredible progress. We are currently #6 in all English-speaking Hobby Skools and #33 across all Skools. That is an incredible accomplishment and you should be so proud. The Road To Number 1 Now the hard work begins. For the first ranking (language & category), we are now competing against long-standing communities that are in these positions for a reason. They are great communities that share the same qualities we do, they love their hobby and each other. They like us, have become families and we will need continual growth in numbers and engagement to move on up. What can you do to help? The rankings are based on points and the community earns points by commenting, liking and posting, so the more we do that, the more points we get and the higher we rise. BUT... I want to stress that the integrity of this group is more important than our rank. So we are not going to do things just to earn points. We are going to do this the right way. I am so proud of this community and how we love and support each other. As we continue to focus on our love of Circular Machine Knitting and each other we will make our goal of number 1 I believe before the end of the year.

What’s Coming Next Week & A Little Behind The Scenes 💕)
I want to share a bit of the real process with you today. Over the last little while, I’ve been practicing, testing, and designing our Colour Work course, and I’m excited to say it will be released next week 🎉The project we’ll be working on together is a Valentine’s Day scarf, like the one you see here. But I also want you to know something important… I don’t get everything right the first time. (See the pictures below.) I have to learn new skills. I drop stitches. I misread charts. I choose the wrong yarn. I get frustrated. Just like you. The difference is—you usually only see the finished project. What you don’t see are the mistakes, the do-overs, and the “well… that didn’t work” moments that happen before it ever looks good. That’s exactly why I create these courses. I do the experimenting, the trial-and-error, and the problem-solving first, so when you sit down to learn, you can: • Start with a method that works • Avoid common mistakes • Understand why things happen • And build confidence faster This Colour Work course is being built step by step with that same heart: 👉 learning together 👉 simplifying what feels complicated 👉 and proving that you can do this—even when it feels tricky at first More details coming soon, but for now, just know this: If you’ve ever thought “She makes it look easy, but I struggle…” — you’re not alone. I struggle too you just don't always get to see it and quitting is not an option. And I can’t wait to teach you this next skill 💖

This is so true. The behind the scenes can be stressful before shinning the light on the finish work. Thank you for the hard work you put into presenting us an awesome project worth learning how to do.
Ideas please.
I would love to make a teddy or toy to represent us as a community. Is there a specific toy anyone would like to recommend please. I have a few books with patterns that I could make and I would like to use the wonderful yarn that I have been given by you wonderful people 🩷. I could do a teddy with a jumper and try and incorporate the CKM on the front. Or I would be very lucky if anyone could design something for me. X

I'm a lover of knowledge. I am forever learning something new and using it to not only enhance myself but others around me. What I don't know I learn.
