Challenge #1 Submission
I liked some of the presets of Exakt Lite a lot, but as I played around with it, I found it kind of glitchy when it came to loading and searching the presets. Also I found it a little limiting to control the sound. Some of the presets have annoying tails of white noise that I couldn't seem to find a way to remove inside or outside of the VST. My submission is a 90's Drum and Bass track. A nod of the head to Dillinja & Lemon D (jazzy and Grimey all in one). It was fun to make, but I had to break a few rules. Sorry @Zach Burger @Skyler Newsome. I brought in a piano. And the rides for the synth drums were awful, so I brought in some others. Also I techically wrote in 170 Bpm and it's 1:48 long.

@Steve Kelly its hard finding that balance of nice and loud (in a healthy way) and also listenable. I think it sounds more listenable now, but the first version definitely had more raw energy. Again, its hard to strike that balance.

@Steve Kelly i can definitely hear it dude. Whats funny is that if someone posted that first one and asked for feedback I would say the snare needs tamed a little, but listening from just a enjoyment standpoint, I love the mix lol. Crazy how putting on that analytical cap can change the perception of a tune and a mix.
Some info (as requested 🤣)
Hi musical community, here is a bit info about me, and the stuff I am doing. (I hope this is alright like that..).. Coming from a classical education in violin, 1 1/2y in the age of 10 playing piano, then I plyed drums with 14. Then self learned guitar, 10 years concerts in a band in pubs during my studies. The I started piano more seriously, especially BoogieWoogie. I played in many bands, even in a great 60th garage Punk Band in Hamburg, northern part of Germany.. Whatever sounds nice, and whenever the people/colleagues are nice 🤣.. As I grew up with Computers such as Sinclair Spektrum or ZX81(who still knows this one??), I came to music technology with my Atari ST with a MIDI interface. After my studies I joined the Fraunhofer Institut (where my new bosses already had invented MP3 ) where I worked 9 years in the field of audio coding, MP3, AAC. AAC Low delay and such topics. Great time. I am away from coding Assembler now🤣. Now I do something different, but have my own "Tone Studio". I am heavily in production, composing (everything what the community here does as well) in my spare time besides family, job.. (you know what I mean I guess🤣🎹) Marketing of my stuff is still too little, but I created a live performance and do give concerts with Computer, Ableton and an own light installation live on stage.. Great fun. In parallel to studio work. Here you can check out my own tracks: Https:/linktr.ee/reinfriedb any feedback always appreciated.😀🎹. Insta is mostly up to date.. I am interested in workflows, such as playing live with computers, effects.. or production hints, new effects, anything.. Always trying to get better. If I can help somebody out, any time..😀just reach out to me.. Hope, this is alright so far, Kind musical regards, Reinfried

What an intriguing journey Reinfried, thank you for sharing! I'm confident you'll be a wealth of information to a lot of people here. Unfortunately I can't say I recognize either of those names (Spektrum or ZX81) but you've enticed me to check them out. We're grateful to have you here! I personally would like to see us all improve at the things you mentioned - workflows, production hints, new effects - which excites me because I believe we're all here to do that. Thank you for joining us!
A hearty welcome!
Help me welcome @Reinfried Bartholomaeus , a multi instrumentalist from Germany! We also want to welcome @Balazs Pukli who is a senior dev engineer - your expertise will be welcome here! Both of you please feel free to drop some of your music in this category (Intro/Showcase) so we can get a feel for what kind of music you make. Looking forward to hearing your tunes and chatting with you both on music, free tools and anything else!
A hearty welcome!

@Balazs Pukli that's an interesting song - writing songs dedicated to family members is a great way to use that creative inspiration. What AI tool did you use to make that tune?

@Reinfried Bartholomaeus we're happy to have you here!
Just downloaded Exakt Lite for the Beat Blitz
This one looks interesting. I'm curious to see where this one will take me for this challenge. New sounds can sometimes really get my creative juices flowing.

@Steve Kelly yeah man you start throwing some of those extended chords around and it's all over from there...
Need some visuals for your music uploads?
Hey all, just wanted to tease some of the new visualizer tools I've been vibe coding + playing around with this morning. What was called EQ-V before is now VusicFX, and includes four different visualizers instead of just the one I talked about last week :-) I'll make a full post about it on Monday, but for now I just wanted to share a few sneak peeks. With the help of these tools, I managed to prep 22 new uploads for songs I have that are almost 15 years old. (I attached 4 of them here 😎) How many songs do you have that are ready to upload to YouTube but are just missing visuals?
