The sessions will start with a half hr meet and treat with 5 weekly sessions to follow, going at the individual pup's speed and confidence. ✨ Hello everyone! ✨ I’m Clare, and I’m really happy to introduce myself as one of your Community Moderators and a Holistic Grooming Academy Ambassador. I run Raggy Rascals Holistic Dog Grooming & Pet Services, where I specialise in consent-based, low-stress grooming for dogs who may be nervous, sensitive, or have had difficult grooming experiences in the past. My work is rooted in understanding dog behaviour, body language, and creating grooming experiences that feel safe, respectful, and empowering for both dogs and their humans. Alongside grooming, I run educational workshops, attend dog events and festivals to promote consent-based grooming, and work using a Partnership Model of Care. This is a 360-degree, collaborative approach that brings together owners, groomers, behaviourists, trainers, vets, and anyone else involved in a dog’s life — ensuring the dog’s emotional and physical wellbeing is supported consistently across all environments. I’m also passionate about education and sharing knowledge. Through my blog, I write about holistic grooming, cooperative care, behaviour-led approaches, and the often unseen emotional side of grooming — supporting both professionals and pet parents to feel more confident and informed.
