"Live like no one else, so you can give like no one else" ~ Dave Ramsey What is your motivation for getting out of debt? For me, getting out of debt would put my family in a position where we are no longer working because we need to, we would be working because we want to. Getting out of debt would successfully get us out of the rat race. What motivates you to get out of debt?

@Tyler Mace @Ty Hatcher and every service member and veteran that is either in Guardian Acadmey or Debt to Dreams. Here's why I chose both of these platforms to be on and why I chose to stand along side you, support, and pray for you... Having mentors, brothers in Christ, men who will lay it all down and you know they will cause you can feel it and sense it when they speak... God has given me assignment and with the verticals he has put in my path to build wealth and be successful. To remind myself before starting for the day on any venture, I pray, and at the end of the prayer I say "for the kingdom of heaven and your will be done" to combat any pride, greed, envy, or lust that may creep in. This shapes the mindset and approach. The first driver is if your reading this I want you to close your eyes and imagine your spouse, your kids, your family, maybe its friends or just that one person in your life and they are cold, scared, lost, crying for help, helpless, hungry, and an enemy not only causing this but keeping them out of reach. What then would do, how much harder would work, how much more efficient and tenacious would you become... I won't sit and be a hypocrite say I always carry this attitude but as of late it weighs heavier on me. The second driver Im holding myself accountable to men who hold themselves accountable in their own lives and I know if I had to stand shoulder to shoulder with them I would not want to let them down. I dont want to be the one hundred, I want to be the 10 in the fight. I can only pray my generosity will outweigh what I've been given or taken. I haven't activated enough of being generous in small ways and know I could be better with my time and effort. So when God's Grace floods me I can be an outpouring to others in all respects and not just one.
Knowledge and Wisdom
It seems like many people are on the quest for more knowledge. Knowledge feels like the specific information to solve a problem. Wisdom seems like it has been lost. Maybe that is why wisdom is so hard to see value in, because it isn't until a long time horizon that you look back and see value in wisdom. Wisdom feels like the idea of balancing a direction for an individual in the unknown, to enable them to make positive movement when they lack an idea of where they are going. They say "Youth is wasted on the young, and wisdom is wasted on the old" It seems like people have become hyper focused on how they get more knowledge. So I guess it leads to the question of how do we balance the two in a meaningful way. Or, is the idea of knowledge and wisdom off?

@Ty Hatcher This might be saying the same thing as Tyler in the utilizing knowledge to work towards something that would be wise. Buying a Farm and understanding the knowledge it takes to run a farm in all its parts to be sustainable and not reliant on gov systems is wise for the future w/o having to rely on digital currencies, credit systems like china has, etc... Knowledge to me is attaining the cognitive understanding and psycho-motor skills needed to apply said knowledge. Short Term goals to achieve a desired affect. Wisdom is the investment, (The why to a person gaining the knowledge to achieve a long term goals. Discipline, consistency, and courage I think are needed to apply both to achieve the desired outcomes someone is looking for. I added courage, because being and Entrepreneur, whether is be flipping homes, investing, starting a business, and then following through all takes courage because it forces you to do things that you're not ready or challenge's you haven't faced or initially thought weren't difficult. Probably just dovetailing here

Thanks guys, I know for me big thing is just having that accountability of reporting back in is a big motivator aside from getting rid of the debt lol. For those that are new this is something that has been lingering for a long time on top of some decisions that maybe weren't the best at the time.
Start Here!
Welcome!! Debt to dreams is a group for helping people establish a strong financial base and build upon that. Respond with 2 financial goals and how the community can help. Once a week make a new post and list any success towards the goal.and where you could use help from the group. They say the first step is the hardest, and you have already done that. So now, it is all down hill. Great to have you in the group.

I was talking to an old military buddy who gave me a call that helped get through sniper school. He works at clandestine media group now and was talking about breaking the non-profit up into two separate events for the year similar to what you suggested and even what I jotted down on my white board. Make the 114mi hike I did back in 2023 and see how I can attach that to the Ultra circuit or version of that and what that buy in would look like to include what the potential gain is and focus on communities: crossfit, running clubs, rucking clubs, Mil & 1st Responders. I know there's a lot more than that as far as everything required just having a targeted approach. Then have another event that's more entry level and family focused. All with at least 7-6 months of advertising time in comparison to the 2 months I've had this year. Build a better team with the same energy I have. Maybe not focus on numbers but more focus on building relationships. I know you have a bunch of courses you're going tk make on that and im looking forward to reading those and execute on them For the LLC. Just Tommy boy the first year and get things rolling given its very niche in the Fire Service. I do have a solid plan though for getting reach in that is well through some well known contacts. I will say though a financial strategy on attacking debt/investing on reinvesting ratio is where I would need help.

Yes please I've been in a cycle that isn't bad but it isn't good either for some time. It would be much easier to explain over a conversation for sure. I have figured out my net worth and what my financial freedom number would be as of today but things id like to account for in the future im not sure how to strategies for that. I haven't been stagnant i did sign up for a program a while back that is a la cart and it has given me some basics to help so far. I'm just in a holding pattern right now for the invention for product to be made and then it will be legal holding pattern for the patent pending.
