Somebody Told a Lie Somebody told a lie. They said Black history did not start until slavery. Did you know the Africans had been to the Americas before the Colonizers landed? Even Columbus, yes that Columbus, wrote of the presence of Gold tipped Spears like those he saw traded for in New Guinea Africa here in what was called the New World! Somebody told a lie. That Black people were savages, who lived in huts without the ability to form civilizations or rule nations. In fact, there were Black Rulers like King Mansa Musa, who was said to hold wealth so vast, that he was inconveniently rich. How about Makeda, the Queen of Sheba, who is referenced in the Bible, about her legendary travels to visit King Solomon. The same people who would like you to think Jesus is a white guy with blonde hair and blue eyes. Somebody told a lie. They said, Black folks were ignorant and only built for low level menial task. Or we are only to be the entertainment, to be seen but not heard. They said, Our brains were too small to create, innovate, design, or solve the complexities of finance, architecture, engineering, mathematics, science, and physics. When in fact we have limitless talents. Ask us about the 50,000 inventions and patents that Black folks birthed without the benefit of formal education on this soil. Somebody told a lie. They don't read or write, anything you want to hide from Black folks, put it in a book. The untold history of being threatened by death for knowing how to read or write. Hatred expressed by cutting off ears, noses or lynching (us)Black folks, to scare us into a life of ignorance to control us. Somebody told a lie. Colonizers tell ignorant whites that Black and Brown folks are only takers in this land. When history tells us that, the untold truth about the so called "Founding Father" who desired this land to be only ruled, by white men who owned property only. Yes, the ruling class only wanted the powerful to have a voice and have used the cult of personality, plus fear mongering to subvert the truth.

Resonance Recorded • Level 5 - Lexicon Artisan
✨🙌🏾Devlyn Decadence🙌🏾✨ @Devlyn Decadence has reached the fifth resonance of the Aftertongue™ path the stage where words design. In the Guild of Lexicon, Level Five is the maker’s threshold: language becomes architecture, and sentences learn to bear weight. Her consistency, precision, and emotional intelligence have strengthened the sound structure of this circle. The Lexicon remembers those who craft what was unsaid.
