Funny Friday Coffee Oh Sh1t Situation
I am a keen coffee drinker since I was a kid and mostly drink it for the taste as it doesn’t affect me like normal people. ☕️ But!!! Went to a coffee convention after our call today and got so jacked up on coffee that is not even funny! What’s funny is that I got a lil blood in my coffee system 😂 What do you call coffee that makes you feel sad? Depresso😂😂😂😂 Got any jokes you can share?

Haha, ‘Depresso’—love it! 😂 I once had a coffee that was so strong I felt like I could run a marathon without training.
💫🌟Daily Tribe Gathering🌟💫 up & down directions
Hi Tribers! I did a mini digital detox today by a recommendation of one of our lovely Tribers and my really good friend @Wayla Freedom ❤️🥰 thank you! I did what she suggested after her mind blowing Tarot reading! I did a salt bath and even stayed under water for a while and then went in nature to recalibrate. Amazing! Off to our Daily Tribe Gathering - directions - up and down! Each and every instrument (yes vocals, too) has 2 directions - up and down. In piano, going towards the right is going up. The sound becomes of a higher frequency (high tones) and the opposite for going to the left (going down). The reason is the high up strings are shorter and thinner, inside the piano. And, thick (the thickest is the size of my pinky finger) & long on the left side, inside of the piano. I have a full blown video on this in the classroom, opening my piano and showing the action inside of it. Check it out if you have not! You can find it here #Piano Geography and Mechanics Now, as much as this sounds like a no brainer, is a very good idea to train your ear in terms of listening for the directions - play a few notes and consciously think is the next note going up or down from the previous one… train your ear! The same is true for sheet music! Notes that are higher on the staff than the previous ones are also higher on the keyboard (to the right of the previous ones). Training your ear and your sight reading go side by side for a holistic approach towards the instrument - so later you do not have a ceiling for your playing and learning and overall progress❤️🎹💫🤗 THE SKY IS THE LIMIT!!! 🙌 oh please vote so I know I explained fine. Thanks! P.S. ahhh also I added a piano class for Wednesday if you like more support, see calendar. It’s also in the classroom. ❤️

I did a little reset today too, but reading this makes me want to step it up with a salt bath and some nature time.
How are you grounding yourself? Tuning yourself?
❤️❤️❤️❤️Hi Tribers! I was just talking to my friend Sarah on how we are grounding ourselves on the daily and wanted to share with you! I found that I ground myself in several different ways daily… to just keep it together. But for me, grounding is not sufficient, I also need to tune myself - like a music instrument! I ground myself through hiking and doing yoga, dancing and touching plants - often that’s gardening. I tune myself when I play music - childlike! Just play for the sake of playing. It doesn’t need to be good or accurate or perfect or nothing. Is just is. Childlike. Like a child playing in the sand at the beach. Like F’ck around and find out type. I call this “Joy Zone” as many of you know who have been here for a while and that’s the main focus in this group… Learning comes secondary. As a byproduct… Cuz the purpose of music is to entertain and bring joy. Learning is always after that… Do you ground yourself daily? Do you also need “tuning” in the joy zone like a music instrument like I do? ❤️❤️❤️

I ground through movement and nature, and tune through music and creativity. Feels amazing to balance both 💕.
Check in 🥰
Have you touched your instrument today? Also, share in the comments anything you feel like you need accountability for (it doesn’t have to be piano related) and I will also follow up in the comments with last week’s accountability post 💕

I’m holding myself accountable to keep showing up, both on the keys and with my weekly goals.
Ode to Joy (right hand)
Still can't believe what an amazing teacher @Rositsa Aleksandrova is. She taught me this in less than ten minutes and here is the result. Would love to start adding the left hand, but right now working on finger flexibility, just going up and down the scale. Enjoy this highly entertaining video 🤣
