I Learned THIS from a Session Today And It Completely Reframed How I See AI in Email Marketing
Today's session with @Mark Harbert (in OfferLab) was inspiring and eye-opening. And even though I've been in this industry for a while, revisiting these concepts made me look at them from a completely different perspective. He shared so much about communication, storytelling and connection, but I want to share just one lesson that really stood out to me. Because let's be honest… Email marketing is still one of the most powerful parts of any funnel. But it's also one of the most misunderstood. Most people think the goal of an email is to get a click, when really, it's to build relationships... The Lesson That Stuck: Mark talked about how every great message follows a natural flow, what he called the Before - After - Bridge. Before: Where your audience is right now, their current challenge or mindset. After: Where they want to be, their desired result or transformation. Bridge: The connection, how you guide them from here to there. Even though I've used this concept before, hearing it again hit differently today... It reminded me that clarity and connection never go out of style! What I want to share is "How to Apply This with AI" This is where AI becomes a game-changer. Instead of using AI to write more emails faster we can use it to write smarter. Here's how: Have AI help you craft messages using the Before - After - Bridge flow: 👉 Acknowledge their Before state. 👉 Paint a vivid After state 👉 Use your insights, offers or story as the Bridge... A lot of entrepreneurs believe the myth that AI makes communication less authentic. But you and I can see the truth... AI doesn’t replace your voice…it helps you use it more intentionally, more consistently and more empathetically... Because sometimes, it's not about reinventing everything... It's about revisiting what works and using tools to amplify it! I'm curious to know how are you currently using AI in your follow-ups or emails? 👇
