Today is not about the market.
The S&P closed Friday near all-time highs. By Tuesday morning everyone will be back to chasing the next move.
Today the market is closed. And it's closed for a reason.
Memorial Day is not "happy." It's not the start of summer. It's not a sale at the mattress store.
It's the day we remember the ones who didn't come home.
If you served, you know a name. Maybe more than one. Today is the day you say it out loud.
If you didn't serve, you still know freedom. You woke up this morning able to buy a stock, build a business, raise your kids, post whatever you want online without permission. That came at a cost. Today is the day you acknowledge who paid it.
We'll get back to the charts tomorrow. The compounding doesn't stop. Neither does the mission.
But today, we pause.
