Ever bookmark an educational youtube video with the intention to get back to it later when you have the time?
You're learning new skills and abilities and you find a youtube video that looks promising...
but...
it's over an hour long and you are too busy to dedicate that time.
As a mom of 4 small kids who runs a business, I feel this 100%.
There's not enough time to homeschool the kids, keep everyone healthy and happy, bake fresh sourdough, do coaching calls, and work my own business while trying to learn the skills that are needed to grow.
So, lately, i've been using AI to watch the videos for me and then give me the cliffnotes version and detailed instructions specified to my business and my brand.
Here's what that looks like:
Step 1: Find an educational video that I want to synthesize.
Step 2: Go into the description, scroll down to where it says transcript, click on it. The transcript should come up on the side. Click and scroll to highlight and copy the entire transcript.
Step 3: Go into Claude and say something like "I am trying to XYZ. I found this educational video about it. Please give me a thorough debriefing of what this video goes over. Break it down into terms that a beginner would understand. Then relay how we can use this information for my own business/brand. This is the transcript: (paste transcript)"
Step 4: Read the briefing.
That's it!
Then, you get the run down of what was in the video, an explanation that you can understand, and how you can apply it to your own business.
It is recommended to follow it up with a conversation. You can ask for any clarifications that you need to fully understand it. Ask it to build upon the concept by conducting market research on your specific niche and business model with psychological studies and actual case studies, etc.
Go out there and start learning at 10x the speed of everyone else!
XOXO
