Are platforms like Fiverr pushing creative work to a race to the bottom?
Hey everyone 👋
Lately, I’ve been exploring freelance platforms like Fiverr, and I’ve been wondering if they’re actually sustainable for creatives who care about doing quality work.
I haven’t received any orders yet, but most of the enquiries I get are like:
“Can you do high-quality 3D product animation for $20?” or someone asking for $100 but wants something you'd usually see in an agency reel.
It made me think…
👉 Do platforms like Fiverr help or hurt creatives in the long run?
  • Have any of you had good experiences there?
  • Or did you eventually move away from them for better positioning?
Not trying to rant — genuinely curious how others are navigating this. 🙌
