What is the policy for tipping and gratuities?

Royal Caribbean supplies the option to pre-pay your gratuities at the time of booking your cruise, with rates varying by stateroom category:

Standard Staterooms (Interior, Ocean View, Balcony, and Junior Suites): $18.50 per person, per day.
Suites (Grand Suites and above): $21.00 per person, per day.

These gratuities are distributed among crew members, including dining, bar, and culinary services staff, stateroom attendants, and other hotel services teams who work to enhance your cruise experience.

In addition to the daily gratuities, an 18% gratuity is automatically added to all beverages, mini bar items, and spa & salon purchases.

However, if you receive outstanding service, you might consider offering an extra tip directly to the bartender or server.

This can be done by adding an amount to the receipt or handing cash directly to the staff member.
