Today (May 31, 2026) is a Blue Moon + a Micromoon. A Blue Moon means this is the second full moon within one calendar month (May had a full moon on May 1 and again today). A Micromoon means the Moon is near its farthest point from Earth, so it appears slightly smaller than usual. It will not actually appear blue. Spiritual Significance of a Blue Moon Its the completion of what was already opened. A Blue Moon is the second illumination in one cycle. Spiritually, this can symbolize: “What was revealed before… now becomes visible more deeply.” Not beginning. Not forcing. But seeing again. Ask yourself the following honestly: What began revealing itself earlier this month? What truth did I notice but not fully honour? Where have I already outgrown something? In a Sanātana Dharma: Traditionally, moon observances are often less about “manifestation” and more about: calming manas (mind) devotion (bhakti) reflection mantra purification observing cycles For tonight, rather than ritual complexity, do this instead: Chant the Mantra: ॥ ॐ शान्तिः शान्तिः शान्तिः ॥ Om Shanti Shanti Shanti or for those in the May Meditation Series class, you can select any mantra we practiced or is listed. Do this not to attract. Not to control. But to become available to clarity. One reflection question for you tonight: “What is trying to emerge in my life that no longer requires force?”.
