A little bit about us

Marriage takes work. Serious work. Sure, things started off great. We were

full of fun, hopes, and dreams. We had completed premarital counseling,

stayed engaged in our church, and were surrounded by incredibly

encouraging friends. Two years into marriage we welcomed our first son,

and four years later, our second. Then life crept in—not suddenly, but

through a slow fade we never saw coming.

One day, we woke up and realized we were so far apart.

What happened to the friendship between us? What happened to the fun?

We had been married 11 years and realized we were in a bad spot.

Counseling, courses, and conferences didn’t help, and eventually Sean

moved out.

The quick version is that Sean moved out, God spoke to each of us, and

through hard work, we renewed our vows 18 months later. We are now over

19 years past that difficult time. It has been amazing to experience such

tremendous healing. Sean returned to school to pursue a master’s degree

in counseling and has utilized both his training and the lessons he learned

from God to help countless marriages.
