👋 Welcome! (Read First + Introduce Yourself)
Welcome to 10 Minute Korean - Daily words💛 Hi, I’m Alo — from Korea, teaching Korean since 2021. I love my language, and I love sharing it with others. I’ve noticed that while many people study Korean through apps or videos, they often don’t have other Korean learners to connect with. That’s why I created this space — for learners to meet, make friends, and cheer each other on. For fun, I love making videos, traveling, and making coffee but I'm not a foodie. ☕ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In this community, let’s share and talk about: ✅ Learning Korean through different methods (immersion, YouTube, TV shows, etc.) ✅ Simple, practical tips for grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation ✅ How to stay motivated when things feel hard or overwhelming ✅ Study routines, apps, and tools that actually work ✅ Finding the courage to speak — even if you feel nervous ✅ …and so much more! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 👉 Please click here first to learn how to use this community. Once you’re done, introduce yourself in the comments ⬇️ You can use this simple format: “안녕하세요, I’m (name), and I’ve been learning Korean for ____. For fun, I like to ____.” And don’t forget — scroll through and reply to others’ introductions if you feel a connection. This is how friendships start here. Looking forward to meeting you all, Alo, from Seoul, Korea

🐶 They are so adorable
오늘 하루 동안 친구의 강아지를 돌봐 줬어요. 강아지와 이렇게 오래 함께 있는 건 처음인데 정말 행복해요. I watched my friend’s dog for the whole day today. It’s the first time I’ve spent this long with a dog, and I’m really happy. 오늘 (oneul) - today 강아지 (gang-aj i) - puppy / dog 맡다 (mat-da) - to take charge of, look after 오랫동안 (o-raet-dong-an) - for a long time 행복하다 (haeng-bok-ha-da) - to be happy What did you do today?
