Rough Day on the Hill
Moving On From a Bad Outing
Every pitcher has been there. You walk off the mound knowing you didn’t have your best stuff, and it stings. But here’s the truth: the outing is over. The only thing you control now is how you respond.
Great pitchers don’t avoid failure—they bounce back faster. Instead of replaying every mistake, ask yourself:
  • What did I learn?
  • What can I adjust in my routine?
  • How do I show up stronger next time?
The game will always give you another chance. The question is—will you still be stuck in the last inning, or ready to dominate the next one?
Flush it. Reset. Get back to work.
