If your answer is no, we probably can't be friends. I love music, I think life without music isn't life at all. I realized something recently though, if I don’t make music part of my routine, I can go way too long without really listening. Days… sometimes even weeks. So as a little reminder to myself, and because I genuinely love sharing good music... I’m going to start dropping some of my favorite songs here whenever they pop up. Today’s pick is from Luca Fogale, an indie artist out of Burnaby, BC. I got to see him live at a small festival in the Kootenays (shoutout to Tiny Lights Music Festival), and his set completely stuck with me. This song, “What I Came Here For,” was hands-down my favorite of the day. It’s one of those tracks that just lingers, the way his voice goes so well with the acoustic guitar, the meaning behind the words. It's a gooder. I wasn’t actually there. 🤣 BUT I saw it pop up while I was lying in bed scrolling and avoiding getting up. It totally inspired me to go love on friends’ posts, send thoughtful and important messages, and go do community in Skool for the last hour and a half.
