This is a true story.
I joined Jack’s Skoolyard full of optimism, curiosity, and just enough confidence to be dangerous.
Fast forward a bit and I somehow managed to:
- Get banned during sprints
- Get banned on (or around) live calls
- Get banned when I wasn’t entirely sure what rule I’d broken.
At this point, I wasn’t even surprised anymore. It became less
“Oh no, I’m banned” and more “Ah yes… this again.”
But here’s the thing.
Despite the bans (or maybe because of them), I stuck around.
Because underneath the chaos, the intensity, and the occasional digital slap on the wrist, this place:
- Forces you to show up properly
- Exposes lazy thinking fast
- Rewards people who keep playing the long game
I didn’t just learn how Skool works. I learned how I work under pressure, feedback, and accountability.
And weirdly… getting banned became part of the initiation ritual. And it makes for a good story too.
So yeah. Still here. Still learning. Still occasionally toeing the line. Still grateful I didn’t quietly disappear after ban #2 😅. Or even ban #20 🤪. Maybe encouraged me to stay. Or maybe it was just to see how many bans I could actually get. We may never know. So here's a poll for the brave:
What’s your Skoolyard experience so far?
