Museum & Nostalgia

Good afternoon everyone!

I'm Julianne. I currently have a free community here on skool that focuses on Nostalgia; but I'm also giving away a lot of things. I'm in the "letting go" season of life and would like all the things I've collected over the years to go where they will be loved and appreciated. I share memories, nostalgia, and history. Just a chill space and free.

I have a great deal of ephemera and some of it is quite rare and one-of-a-kind. It's been a goal of mine to digitize in order to preserve. So, I will be creating my community here on skool which I hope will be one of the world's largest digital libraries. As I get things digitized, I will continue donating the physical goods to museums and historic societies; however, some of it will go to community members. The digital assets can be used by designers, publishers, creatives, and historians. They can be sold as digital assets on many platforms where that is allowed. Used for Junk Journals. I will also scan entire books (similar to the ones I've put in the Ricochet classroom - and an example would be that one antique pattern can sell on etsy for $3-$7 and the book is FULL of patterns).

But also, much like a real museum where people come in to just enjoy history, people can join as they would any museum and pay the monthly fee for unlimited visits. In order for me to accomplish this monumental scanning task, I'll be adding things every day.

There will only be 2 tiers...one for unlimited access and use of digital assets and a VIP in which the members will get first dibs - early access to new scans.

I've done okay with my digital sales, but I don't have time to scan/preserve AND promote. So I have to focus on one or the other. Because my age is a factor, I need to focus on preservation.
