❕Beware of potential AI trolls
Hey guys, if someone you have had almost no prior contact with and is not really active in the group, reaches out in private messages, starts asking a lot of questions and it feels a bit off, do a little check to see if they are a legit part of the community.
Especially if you already gave a boundary and they keep persisting while they are surprisingly well-spoken and polite.
If they hardly ever say anything in the community and are a part of many communities, they could very well be an AI troll. It might seem harmless and they could well be a real person, so I wouldn't throw them under the bus, but it's probably best to kindly decline further contact.
