Most of the growth doesn’t happen on launch week
Something I’ve been thinking about lately… A lot of authors pour everything into launch week and once it’s over, it kind of feels like, “Okay… now what?” but the more I look at it, the real growth seems to happen after the first sale. When someone buys your book and then actually sticks around, joins your list, follows your work, checks out your next book and that’s when things start to compound. The launch gets attention. Retention is what turns a book into a long term asset for your brand or business.
Curious how others here think about this, do you have anything in place to turn first time readers into long term followers?
