Every good adventure needs a guide, and every good guide needs a name!
Allow me to introduce a little artifact that has been quietly waiting in the wings: a small, yellow, glass duck, filled with an assortment of symbolic, curious, and occasionally thought-provoking questions.
I've affectionately been calling him The Duck of Wisdom, but I think it's time he had a proper name!
He's going to be making an appearance around WonderWander in the near future, and I have a feeling he might have a few interesting things up his little feathery sleeves. Before that happens, though, I thought it would be fun to let the community decide what we should call him.

Alden - Old English origin "Old friend" or "old, wise friend." A name with a warm, companionable quality, suggesting the sort of wisdom that comes with experience.
Alfred (Alfie) - Old English / Germanic origin "Elf counsel", "wise counselor", or "counsel from the elves." A name with a touch of folklore and enchantment, carrying associations with wise counsel.
Alvis - Old Norse/Scandinavian origin "All-wise." Also the name of a knowledgeable dwarf in Norse mythology.
Conrad - Germanic origin "Brave counsel" or "bold in counsel." Suggests wisdom accompanied by courage and the willingness to speak one's mind.
Hugo - Latin/Germanic origin "Mind," "intellect," or "spirit." A name associated with thought, understanding, and the inner life.
Quinn - Gaelic / Irish origin Means "wise". Traditionally derived from the Irish surname Ó Cuinn, meaning "descendant of Conn." Conn is associated with sense, reason, and intelligence.
