It’s a bit of a crazy one this week 🤪
Monday I gave a talk at the House of Commons celebrating our programme TechUPWomen which we run at Durham University. It was fantastic to interview 2 of our fabulous learners in front of everyone about their experience in the programme and to celebrate our team who do all the hard work making it successful ❤️
One of our learners Molly had a baby during the course then came back to speak to the next cohort when her baby was a few months old. I told everyone what a superstar she is, when presenting to the group she was bouncing her baby on her knee off camera, I realised and ask Molly to show us her baby 🥰 which she did. A while later he started crying so, continuing her presentation, she put him in a buggy, left her house and finished her presentation to us walking around outside pushing him in the buggy 🥳 what a superstar 🌟
After the House of Commons I went over to Kings College London and gave a public lecture which went fantastically well. Such a lovely audience, lots of great questions and a really fun reception afterwards ❤️
On Tuesday I attended a Women in tech reception at the French Embassy which was lovely. Some beautiful live music and then a great panel session with 3 superstar women. Followed by fantastic wine and canapés and great conversation with so many interesting people 🤩
Today I’m off to No. 10 for a Women in Tech reception, I’ll report back later 🎉
What are you up to today?
Have a great one! ❤️
