I need to share this because it’s fully tickled me 😩😂

I’m sat doing my work this morning & someone pops up on Teams like “how are you settling in?” “heard great things about you” etc etc….. and because I work from home and haven’t met half the company yet… I’m just like aw this is nice!!!

So me being me, I start chatting away like I’ve known this man for years….. giving him the whole life story…. how I’m finding the role…. what I’ve been doing…. even had a little chat about the boxing last weekend….. fully settled into the convo like it’s a casual catch up, this goes on back and forth….for nearly TWO HOURS!!!!

Then he goes “we should catch up when you’re in London”…. and I’m still none the wiser… just like yeah sounds good…. but at this point I’m like, I should really find out who this is…. so I message the guy I work alongside like “who’s this again?”

& he just replies……. “the CEO mate” …. I felt my soul leave my body 😩😂🤣🙈 just me… sat in my house… having a full blown chinwag with the CEO with absolutely ZERO awareness 😂🙈…. no professionalism…. just my usual vibes 😂🙈

On the plus side he was fully chatting away too & at least he got the real me 😂😂….. please tell me someone else has done something like this because I am NOT recovering from this one anytime soon 😂🙈
