Another contract & life update

Hi all

I have signed another contract with Roberts Bakery via Uspire group as a senior consultant. This means I'm now at capacity for contract roles through my new business Yorkshire Rose Consultancy. I have updated my linked in.

Otherwise in my life I'm going through it a bit. Would love to connect with others who are going through something similar. My dad is now in palliative care after a 7 week ago lung cancer diagnosis and even after chemo (now stopped) it's progressed massively. I also decided to leave my husband of 12 years due to continued lack of emotional connection and feeling like I want to be on my own. It's a huge shock to him and he's not taking it very well and wants to try. I feel like I've left him already. My friends and family are mostly not shocked about this decision. I think I've hit 40 and realised I don't want to share my remaining years with someone who doesn't appear to care, even though he says he does, I don't feel it. I feel we've drifted and I want to try something new.

I've been a bit quiet on here because of the above but wanted to share my news and hope maybe one or two people it resonates with and we can connect and share ideas.
