Should I learn W:Ju-HanGl (Romanized Korean) first, and study HanGl later?
__________________________
A | If you really want to approach Korean properly, study W:Ju-HanGl and HanGl together.
To be honest, W:Ju-HanGl is extremely easy to grasp. Just read the Easy 10 Rules, and you’ll already understand the system. Right?
Then explore daily-K. Most of our content mixes W:Ju-HanGl, English, and HanGl in a hybrid format. As you read and enjoy the content, you’ll become familiar with Korean in the most natural way.
You don’t actually need huge effort. Language doesn’t work like that anyway. What you really need is consistency — every single daily — along with curiosity and a bit of fun.
Maybe you just want to understand expressions from K-pop or K-dramas, and pronounce them the Korean way. That’s perfectly fine. If you read them using W:Ju-HanGl, you’ll get close to Korean pronunciation very quickly.
Korean expressions you’ve always wanted to say?
Don’t worry. HanGuk-Mal is not as difficult as you ever known.
Just get used to the slightly modified Roman style of WJH. It’s faster and easier to approach than HanGl at first. And before you even notice it, you’ll find yourself reading JinJJa 한글 as well.
Everyone smiles in the end.
