Repairing an old MCU Pro
Just bought an old MCU Pro controller for a very good price. I need to replace the LCD displays bc they go old and stop shining. (Got the replacements all ready) And it also makes a funky humming noise, i think is because the LCD needs high voltage to work but since they don't shine anymore, they are overloading the component that supply the high voltage. (Not the main power supply)
Ive just disassembled some parts of it and it has a lot of different screw types had to put them on different containers so i dont get them mixed up.
A fun restoration project of a great piece of gear. Ill aim to make it work good as new so i can implement it to my mixing workflow
The jog wheel its a bit bent too, ill see what i can do about that.
