For God Alone

This morning I was reading in Psalm 62.

"For God alone my soul waits in silence; from him comes my salvation. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be greatly shaken. For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence, for my hope is from him. He only is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I shall not be shaken." (Psalm 62:1-2, 5-6)

I was reminded that as long as we have God on our side, and we are walking in fellowship with Him, He alone is our source and sufficiency for the present and the future.

No man can withstand what He wants to do in our lives. No situation can prevent His purpose and plan and provision.

Man is not our rock. God alone is our Rock.

We shall not be shaken.
