I’ve been wanting to do this properly since we hit 50 members —

I’m Talia. I make pottery by hand in a little studio in Bluemont, Virginia — usually with cold coffee nearby and at least one small person who needs something. My husband Josh is a musician. My days are full and loud and I wouldn’t trade them, but I’ve had to learn — slowly — how to protect the hours that are mine.

That’s why this community exists. Because I needed it too.
